Get ready for a fresh new look at The Old Plough! We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be closing for a refurbishment starting Monday, June 2nd, and will reopen on July 14th with a completely refreshed atmosphere. We apologise for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause.

While we’re sprucing things up, we want to remind you of what makes The Old Plough a beloved spot in the heart of Ashton on Mersey. We’re famed for our fine ales, great lagers, excellent wines, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy a freshly prepared meal from our extensive menu. We offer an array of dishes to suit all tastes, including your favourite pub classics, succulent grills, and delicious burgers. If you’re looking for something lighter, we also have a selection of sandwiches and nibbles. And, of course, don’t forget our traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings – it’s perfect for the whole family!
